This year, we will celebrate each student as the “Star Student” of the week.  Each child will be assigned a date to make a presentation about themselves and their interests to the class.

1.      Please complete the poster sent home at Back-To-School Night.  Kindly send the poster into school on the Monday of your child’s assigned week to be proudly displayed in the classroom.  Working with your child on this project will not only be great fun, but also help organize their thoughts for their verbal presentation to the class.

2.      Kindly send in a snack corresponding with the letter being introduced on the Monday of their assigned week. The star student will be the only child that knows which letter we will be meeting! We will serve the snack during our regular snack time.

3.      Parents are invited to join us in the classroom to read a favorite book or make a craft.  We typically schedule this special visit on Wednesday at 1:30 pm. If this day and time is not convenient for you, please let us know the week prior so that we can choose another ½ hour time slot. The order, selected at random, for Star Student is as follows:
